My friend Smithy and the duck pond

You know how some mornings it's a real drag to get out of bed ?

Then the word BEACH is mentioned.

Then the phone rings so you really have to make an effort, especially when the call is for you.

I love to hear Karina's voice on the phone.

My voice is a bit husky, so I tend to let Karina do the talking.

Eventually we arrived on the beach.

Only to meet my new friend Smithy who is 8 months old. Smithy normally lives in Bristol but is on holiday. Like me he is a sand digger.

Treat eater.

Expert duck spotter.

Water drinker.

Nose to nose happy guy.

Serves me right for trying to show off.

I fell in the duck pond.

Happy holidays Smithy.

We are taking part in a blog hop. You can find all the details over at The Chronicle of the Woos.

  1. We were worried that would happen. You were so close to the edge, Freya Rose - do be careful:) Hope the humans didn't have to jump in to save you.

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  2. Freya Rose, you are so daring as well as being adorable.

My Kirra gives the sea, and the river a wide berth - she thinks water is for drinking only and then only from a bowl.

I loved sooooo much all the photo's and seeing you had such a great time.

    Love from Kirra -x-

  3. He he, your friend has a really messy beard. It looks like ours. We wondered if you'd fall in, you were leaning way over the edge.

We were in that blog hop, too.
