The cat flap Cavalier's guide to fish and chips in the South West of England... PART ONE.

We all nose there are fish and chips and there are fish and chips. Some fish and chips are tastier than others.

First you have to find a fish and chip shop.
You could start by visiting a fishing town like Brixham in South Devon. Handy for me as I don't live far away.

It's a sure bet you will find a fish and chip shop around if you look hard enough.

If you get lost and lose your way, it's always a good idea to stop and ask someone.

It has to be said, some are more helpful than others.

Never ask a stuffed toy dog sitting outside of a shop cos they are useless at directions.  There's also the added fact that they don't eat fish and chips.

On a scale of ten, the contents of this box are seven.
I can only go on the fish cos I don't eat the chips.

  18. I used to live near a fish and chips shop and I was a frequent visitor. Here we don't have one and it's hard to find good fish at all. I wish I lived back on the east coast where I could eat fish every day.
