Cat Flap Cavalier alert - Palm Oil found on South Devon beaches

I've a very important message to tell everyone who walks on the same beaches that I do around here.

There is a palm oil alert on our beaches, if you don't know about palm oil, you can read all about it over at Soggibottom here is the link.

Best to warn as many as we can.
I've been talking a slight detour away from my usual beach walks over the last few days.

I've swapped soft sand for crunchy leaves for a while.

Ducks instead of seagulls.

At least until the palm oil scare is over.  Palm oil if eaten by dogs can kill.
There are no Sid Squirrels on the beach, so this suits me fine at the moment

I still get to meet some great walkers.

This is Rudolph, Finn

Here is Frankie, boy has Frankie grown since we last saw him in the Spring. He now weighs 8 stone and looks like he is still growing. I see he has grown into his smile.

Forewarned is forearmed. Keep safe out there if you go to the beach for your daily walk.

  6. So this palm oil gets washed up on beaches from ships transporting or dumping it into the sea? And this is killing one dog per day......that's crazy! Stay safe my friend.

    Aroo to you,
    Sully
