How to make a good sandcastle by Freya Rose Blossom

There are times when I can't go to the beach, especially if it's raining. But just because I can't go doesn't mean to say I can't tell you how I make a good sandcastle.

It's best to pick a good spot, not too many onlookers to distract you while you work.

If you change your mind about the spot that's fine.

Having a good nose to help you dig is helpful.

The idea is to make sure the moat is firm and doesn't collapse.

You have to go all the way around and not skip corners... some sand castles are round others are square, this is round so I didn't have to worry too much about cutting corners.

Sit back in the moat and wait for praise for all your hard work.

Easy stuff...
I've been over at the Portuguese Water Dogs blog taking part in their bandanna day....

Even Frankie de tabby joined in the fun... thanks Sue for inviting us both.

  1. Freya Rose, you have great sandcastle building skills. We have learned a lot from you. Now if only we had a beach full of sand . . .

We thought you looked quite stylish in your bandana.
