Bigbury Bay or bust.

Is it me ?

I was quite happy to spend a day in front of the fire.

Instead I found myself rummaging around in seaweed on the beach.
Some one has to do it.......
If your on the beach there is nothing better to take home with you than the pungent smell of seaweed.

Or better still make sure you find sand that is still wet, it really sticks to your paws.

Or climb the cliff to the top.

Rabbitty smells everywhere.

Views along the South Devon Coast towards Plymouth.

One of the best things about the beach, it's not what you take home, it's leaving your footprints in the sand to tell everyone you were there......

Fireside or beach? Fireside or beach ? Fireside or beach ?

I wonder what time this sparrow got out of bed, or would he sooner spend his day warming his beak in front of the fire ?

I love the beach best.

The place to be and be seen and to make friends........

  2. Arrggghhh.....Blogger is being naughty today...anyway...

When you see Freya with the other dog you can see how much bigger she is now:)

Freya you are a very good dog for bringing home all that lovely sand between your toes and in your fur. Good girl:)

  3. reya rose, we think you do like that beach. And of course, once you have your fun at the beach, you can always go home and dream about it by the fire.

  4. Hi Freya
Right now- the place for you to be is probably near your fire- warming your little toes. And remembering the friends you made, and the good times at the beach. You and that little doggy are sooo cute!

  5. Better to bring home sand between your toes than mud! Your mum likes cleaning up after you anyway......

  6. It looks lovely there. Nothing like a nice empty winter beach.

  7. Beach, then fireside! What a gorgeous day it looks, dear Freya!

  8. I love the beach too. Looks like you had a lot of fun!! All that seaweed sure smells good, I bet!
