The village fruit, flower and vegetable show in full swing.

This year I am a guest. I'm told you have to be a member of the gardening society to enter anything in the competition. I'm not a member but I could be because I am a champion digger of holes.

Nothing eatable among the prizes so I can't see what's so special about the cups and stuff.

I know that some of the displays are eatable, if that gives me an edge on being a judge then I am a very good judge, at eatables at least.

I'm not great on some eatables displayed so we will move on.

No, not good at flowers either.

Not great at painting or crafts.

This appeals to me. It's a cabbage and it has a third in the show...

The caterpillar that ate some of it had a first prize for the effort of making all the holes. Now that is my kind of first prize.

Sand and snow freaks.

We all nose I digs. It's true I can dig for Britain and dig for the rest of the world if I'm asked.
Most times, I'm not asked to dig at all, but I always like to keep my paw in anyway. The beach is the best place to practice as the exercise always keeps my claws in trim.

There are times I find amazing things on the beach. .

It's a snow freak. Me finks it must be one of Frankie and Ernie's cos sum one told me when they moved sum of their snow freaks escaped. Not sure how they escaped all the way over here but they ave.

Can you please come and pick the frosty guys up cos they are cluttering up my tidy beach.

Fish and chips are good but this is a crab and prawn shell.. REALLY TASTY.. er, who ate the contents. ?

The cat flap Cavalier's guide to fish and chips in the South West of England... PART ONE.

We all nose there are fish and chips and there are fish and chips. Some fish and chips are tastier than others. 

First you have to find a fish and chip shop. 
You could start by visiting a fishing town like Brixham in South Devon. Handy for me as I don't live far away.

It's a sure bet you will find a fish and chip shop around if you look hard enough. 

If you get lost and lose your way, it's always a good idea to stop and ask someone. 

It has to be said, some are more helpful than others. 

Never ask a stuffed toy dog sitting outside of a shop cos they are useless at directions.  There's also the added fact that they don't eat fish and chips.

On a scale of ten, the contents of this box are seven.
I can only go on the fish cos I don't eat the chips.
