The yearly check up for paws and Pedigree's.

It's safety week in bloggy dog and cat land this week, officially I'm not taking part cos I was fast asleep, missed all the stuff about it when Jake was staying here last week.

It gives me a good opportunity to tell everyone how important yearly check ups at the ever so nice Mr or Mrs or Miss Vet's are.

We all know waiting in the waiting room can be a bit of a chore.

But you meet the most adorable creatures.
Bit fuzzy cos little worm was squirming around. Meet ten week old Oliver.

It always give me the chance to say hello to old friends.

My yearly check up this year  included checking my heart, legs, body, ears, eye's, tum, teeth and most important of all another booster shot to keep me healthy for another year.

Heart, clear as a bell and working great. Everything great, I'm in tip top condition.

We won't however mention the scales in the vet, cos they are wrong, they seem to be a good few pounds out. As I stood on them they seemed a bit wonky. Just in case they aren't wrong, I've decided no more cat food stealing. From now on, I'm gonna leave the cat cookies to the cat.

  1. We went to the vets too yesterday but just to pick up the flea / tick / worming gubbins. I love the vets - I always give her a big kiss. My friend Kali who came with us didn't like being there though :-)

    1. The vet scales were broken, they were broken and should have given me a smile when I climbed on 'em. No smile, it said, hey tubs off the scales. CHEEK !

  12. You look pretty good to me Freya - you'd think a vet would make enough money to buy some decent scales instead of using broken ones.
