The high spot

Always head for a high spot if there is danger of flooding.

If you really have to go outside and get your feet wet, make sure you wipe your wet feet on the rug first because you don't want to make your high spot wet too.  Best to rub your feet well, but when no one is looking.

Then you can settle down in the dry to watch the film.

  2. Sensible girl! Clovis hated the snow yesterday as he got ice-balls on his feet, and then in the afternoon I made him wade through a flood near his girlfriend's house. Far better to sit on the sofa and watch some good movies!
