The word bath and barf have different meanings.
One is to barf up stuff you don't want after you have eaten it.... e.g. snails and sand.
The other one is to have soap and water thrown all over you, even if you don't need it.

We bring back so much dirt and sand from the river, that our tub looks like a beach after the brown water washes away.
