Back on the beach this morning and it started to rain.
That's okay for those that are used to getting wet, all day and everyday.
Luckily we found a hidey hole in the side of the cliff.
Better still I could dig away in the dry out of the rain.
We had to wait till the storm passed.
There are a couple of rules on the beach, never go near a Collie dog with a ball in it's mouth. It's not your ball.
Never try to muscle in on someone's well dug beach hole.
Lovely pup, but has a lot to learn, besides which, it was my beach hole.

Yep your beach hole indeed Freya and we got wet today too. Big Sigh! Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Oh dear fancy getting wet on the beach. Pleased you had somewhere to hide from the storm. We have had a very sunny warm day up here, but there is a frost tonight.
ReplyDeleteOK, here's a Scottie rule, use it, your smaller and meaner, works every time!

It's ok - it was your hole to begin with :)
ReplyDeleteBless guys, yep, mum had a fit that I stood up to a Staffordshire bull terrier.
ReplyDeleteI DID stand up for what was mine.
She was a lovely pup, with the right people and mum gave her a one of my cookies out of her pocket.
BUT, NO ONE PUT'S my digging hole in a corner...
Lovely, lovely pup, she will live a charmed life, hope we see her again on the beach, mum will make sure her pocket's are full of cookies. Luv's X
Uh oh....bit of an altercation there Freya? The beach, rain and having a dry head and back. You had it all!
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Bella & Roxy
You crack me up with your beach holes, Freya. But it's better than digging up the garden. Busy day for dogs on the beach.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the beach rules. I've never been to the beach but I will most certainly keep those in mind in case I do get to go one day. Maybe next time you could push him in the hole!
ReplyDeleteWhen will they learn?
