April Showers and Drought conditions

I often go to the park for a daily walk or two. That's if I'm not running around on the beach.

The park is on a flood plain, when it rains heavily the river overflows. I needed a snorkel and a pair of water wings yesterday.

Devon was declared to be part of a drought zone the other day.... then it started to rain and hasn't stopped since. The best place to be when your in drought conditions is right beside the fire.

Besides the rain makes my ears go frizzy..

I don't mind the head gear.

What is this ?

I don't mind the head gear, but this went a bit too far.

We were out and about visiting yesterday.

Becca, Tilly May, Jake and even Mr Chops.

I came home with a new accessory to wear in the car, 'cept it needs a bit of adjusting.

It's always good to see everyone, but good to get back home, notice no head gear or fairy dress, I had to leave them with Tilly May.

Hey blogger we don't like change

I know one of us is going to be blacklisted...........

Not the ducks.............

My very good source tells me that going on blogger isn't just a walk in the woods any more.

Not just a walk along the beach or the promenade when the tide is in either.

Or a walk in the bluebell woods.. things are changing.. not sure if I like it...........

I will keep an eye out for the old blogger, it might be buried somewhere around, if it is, I will find it..........

My first Easter

My very first Easter Day and I never had a chocolate egg.....

Instead I had a new water mat...

With part of my name on it...........................

If you turn it over it even has puzzles on the other side for me to do...

Pass that pencil.
Now I ask you , do I look as if I am the kind to do puzzles ... ?
I haven't got a pencil case either !

Freya Rose Blossom and the Easter Bunny hunt at Exmouth in Devon.

It's no good, my ear's won't stick up like a rabbits, I have a couple of tufts that will, but that's about it.
Someone never got around to making me a pair of bunny ear's either... instead we went on a hunt.
I am very good at hunting, so this is one I really enjoyed.

It might have been a help it I had really known what I was looking for, but I just kept digging.

Exmouth Beach and apart from a few other dogs, I had it all to myself. The whole beach will take a lot of digging.

Any clue's as to what I am supposed to be looking for would be a help.........

This is our normal walking beach, right over there across the water. To get to Exmouth we had to drive twenty five miles (lots of bends to lean into).  Seems strange when our normal beach is just over there.
It's not a good place to try and cross the water thinking you can paddle across, there are lots of sinky bits. This means that the lifeboat has to come out and rescue you when you get stuck in the sand and mud.

There were no sea defenses to jump on this side, only rock pools to explore as the tide was out.  I'm still not sure what I am supposed to be looking for.

Eggs... ?
What eggs ?

That is just so mean... making a cake that is made of chocolate with little eggs on the top.... 

We all know, pups, and dogs can't eat chocolate it's dangerous for them.Should I have been digging so many holes on Exmouth Beach ?
I like cheese anyway. Although now I have to watch my weight.... one lick of cheese and that's it...

Pesky critters

When you see pesky critters in the front garden.

It's best to stamp your feet as hard as you can to frighten them off.

I'm sure all the seed on the bird feeders isn't meant for the squirrels.

It's always best done at a distance as we all know, although squirrels look cute, they have flea's.
