The collar of shame.

This week had nothing to do with me, just like everyone to know......
I kept both eye's open and watched the mutt to make sure she was okay.

What ever she had been up to gave her wobbly legs and made her sleep all afternoon.

The next day it was all about the collar of shame that she should have worn

I had a good sniff at it though....

It's in such pristine condition, I would hate to make it dirty.

It's been a strange week. I can't remember the last few days very well.

We were out again today.

Must admit I wondered where we were going.

We ended up visiting that nice Mr Vet again.  We were here on Tuesday, or was it Wednesday ?

I have the all clear. My figure is safe and I am going to make sure that I will make the most of being the only pup around the cottage. Mr vet even gave me a heart check, I have the all clear on that too.

I still won't be able to go to the beach for a week or two, but guess what Frank.........

The mutt is back !

Thank you for all your good wishes this week as you can see, she's back and on the way to recovery. Can't keep a good digging dog down. :-) xxx

  6. Are they making you wear the collar of shame? My last saluki was very clever, the one time we took his collar off he quietly chewed the fastener thus making the whole thing totally useless. We shouldn't have insulted his intelligence by putting it on him in the first place I suppose. So stay away from those stitches and get well soon!

  9. Lovely little Freya, I'm so happy that you are going to be just fine! I'm sure Mum and everyone will spoil you till you are right as rain again. Then it's back to the beach for hunting of things that smell and rocks that need collecting! Hugs!

  10. Ah bless, that "look" at the vets as you leave them ... breaks my heart, how to make them understand it's all for the best. Still, she's forgotten all about it now. So glad it went well! xx
