I've found shell collecting a fun thing to do.
First you start by sniffing out a likely place where you will find shells. This isn't as easy as it might seem as there are loads of shells on a beach, to find the good ones you have to get down and get sandy.
Then you start digging with all your might. It helps if you make sure your nose does some work, not just your paws.
Although there is always the chance another set of paws will try and muscle in on your action during the dig.
But then they do say two
A word of warning to all shell lovers out there, you can't bring them back home. Look in awe at your finds and then leave them to be found again on another day.
After a hard dig it's always best to snuggle up on a couple of fluffy cushions when you get home. They also help to remove all the extra sand you have brought home with you.
It's even better when the cushions belong to Frankie de tabby.

Nice work digging for those shells! I bet momma loves all the extra sand on her couch too! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute:)
ReplyDeleteFreya Rose, you look like you had so much fun at the beach and all that digging. Mom wishes we didn't live so far from the shore - she misses summer trips to the beach. We think we might like it too.
ReplyDeleteLook at you and Frankie getting all snuggly there - you are winning him over, Sweetie.

Hey Freya you are a champion digger - you should bring home a crab or two for Frankie sometime!~ Glad to see him sharing the couch with you!
ReplyDeleteMylee is taking notes! Keep on digging Freya, you are beautiful. Hope you manage to sneak home a shell or two.
