The working Cavalier on a South Devon beach
It's a well known fact that here in the South West of England, when visitors from the Summer months go home the beaches still have to be patrolled.
This is the patch I patrol and clear from innocent flying wings trying to catch their dinner.
Some bob around in the water off shore. The best way to clear them is to sneak up on them when they least expect it.
I've yet to clear them all, but I live in hope,
This kind of work wouldn't be suited to every Cavalier you meet, cos most don't like getting their paws wet at all.
There is always that rewarding feeling when going home, you know you have done your best.
The perk of the job is, you also take as much of the beach home with you in your very wet bedraggled sea water smelling coat.

Shopping with 'amsters and pink pins.
I luvs meeting other paws when I'm out and about.
Paws are paws, no matter who the fluffy little guys are. This little guy was a lion headed bun called Aslan and he was looking for a new home. I WANT HIM, I LUVS HIM.
The highlight of my shopping day, to go and visit as many little critters as I can in the pet store. I can yell as much as I like as I walk around and I normally do just that all around the store. Then I get rewarded with a cookie at the checkout. Works every time.
This is the toy isle and no Puffy Puffins to be found.
Bit of a wasted shopping trip really, no 'amsters, no fluffy bunny's, no little squirrel like guys to bring home, no new toy, no tasty treats.
But, I did have mail when we got home.
Mail from the Idaho pug ranch and a beautiful little puggy pin from angel Greta and the guys.
A PIN I WILL WEAR WITH PRIDE.
THANK YOU guys and THANK YOU to Angel Greta's mum for thinking of me.
This is such a tiny pin that has a BIG meaning. It means you don't have to big in the world to share love and hope. You don't have to have big paws to get noticed. The smallest thoughts of luvs and hope go a very long way.
Anything is possible if you have luvs and you have hope.

Many thanks to Angel Greta's mum, such a lovely thought to send the pin. It will be worn with pride and we promise to pass on the true meaning with love and hope. XXX

Things to CHECK when it rain's.
When you know it's gonna rain, not much you can do about it but wait.
When it comes it's time to put your coat on and check your boundary's.
When I say boundary's, I mean under every hedge. CHECK.
Make sure to check the "and dog" wheels are where they should be. CHECK.
Check water levels. CHECK.
Then it's time to put your feet up and watch t.v.
I like watching t.v.
I'm not bothered.

The Taco Trail
Today I've been given a quest in honour of our friend Jazzi. I'm on a taco trail.
Jazzi was a taco fiend and not just any taco fiend, she was the best taco snaffler in the world, so today is her remembrance day and I'm helping out.
Everyone and I do mean everyone knows what a taco is, I've still never seen a real live one.
Do they live in the sea?
Do they live around corners of old stone forts ?
Do rabbits know where they are ?
Do they march, do they jump, do they hop to it ?
Can they be found down by our stream ?
Does Dartmoor National park have them ?
The taco quest isn't as easy as I thought it would be, here I am beside the river Dart.
AH HA !.
Hot diggy dog, there is one on the other side of the river bank.
Good job these taco guys are good swimmers.
In memory of Jazzi the best taco snaffler ever.
